Sensortech Systems, California Industrial Technology Firm, Celebrates Anniversary
Oxnard, CA – January 23, 2019 Sensortech Systems, Inc., based in Oxnard, California, celebrates another milestone: completing 36 years as a leader in the field of moisture measurement and control. Sensortech was founded by Colin Hanson with partners Bob Blankenship and Logan Mosteller in January 1983. The development of a radio frequency (RF) moisture analyzer began immediately, and the ST-1100 online moisture analyzer was launched in July 1983.
With ongoing engineering innovation and response to industrial market needs, Sensortech Systems has developed a broad line of RF systems, including the ST-3300 Moisture Analyzer, the IMPS-4400 Industrial-Grade Moisture Profiling System, PMT-330 Portable Moisture Tester, and the Kiln-Jam Detector. Sensortech Systems has become the standard resource for moisture measurement technology throughout the gypsum board industryas well as for a diverse range of building materials applications.
In more recent years, recognizing the need for diversity, Sensortech Systems developed a comprehensive line of analyzers using near infrared (NIR) technology. The NIR series includes nine instruments, each measuring up to three constituents and may be calibrated and applied to any number of applications and locations.
“Moving forward, our focus will remain on offering advanced measurement technology that serves industrial manufacturing processes,” says Colin Hanson, Sensortech Systems president.
With a growing engineering department, international divisions in The Netherlands and China, and dozens of representatives worldwide, Sensortech Systems is poised for ongoing innovation and growth.
Now under the sole leadership of Hanson with thousands of instruments sold to more than 4,000 companies worldwide, Sensortech Systems continues to provide applied measurement technologies and control solutions for manufacturers.
